Scam alert 🚨
If you receive an unsolicited phone call that starts with “Sir/Mam, there is a problem with your computer”, please hang up immediately.
The tech giants of this world, e.g. Microsoft will not contact you and ask to fix your computer, and they certainly will not ask for your credit card details over the phone.
TechTiger has seen a recent rise in the amount of these scam phone calls being reported by people on social media, and a much loved family member recently fell victim to this scam.
